[1924]  48pp, with colour plate frontispiece and five further colour plates, numerous line drawings in text.  In pictorial boards, canvas over spine.  Colour illustrated endpapers, illustrated title page. Tall 4to.  Boards are worn, rubbed around edges, a little rounded at corners and spine ends, with some minor scratches and soiling.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a few spot marks on endpapers, with vibrant colour plates.

Anne Anderson (1874-1952?) was an well regarded illustrator in the early part of the 20th century, best known for her Art Nouveau children's book illustrations (we have several of her works in stock).  Peggy Morrison (died 1973) was a profilic author, publishing most of her works under the name 'March Cost'.  A charming story of goblins, with a dark side, with delightful illustrations.  Hard to find title.
