Wilfred Thorley was an English writer, translator and poet, perhaps best remembered for his poem, 'Chant for Reapers' which is included both in this volume and in the Oxford Book of English Verse. Confessions was his first collection of poetry to be published. Now a hard to find title. A sweet little volume of chants and poems.
