A slight bump on lower leading corner of covers, and some faint smudging on the fore-edge, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. Pictures and colour were important to the ancient Egyptians, although the area is under-researched. This volume contains a collection of 23 essays on the topic, from leading historians, arising out of an international colloquium.
