Complete in four volumes. 284pp; 366pp; 388pp; 300pp. Uniformly bound set. Half-bound in deep blue morocco leather over paler blue cloth boards, gilt decorations and gilt lettering on spine. Top edge gilt, all other edges deckled. Marbled endpapers. Bound in satin ribbon markers. 12mo. All volumes have faint creases on spine, a little spotting on text block edges and hint of toning on endpapers, else neat, clean, bright and tight. Satin markers a little creased and lightly fraying at ends. Volume One has, on the verso of the front free endpaper, the bookplate of John Charles Walsham Reith, aka John Reith, 1st Baron Reith and first Director-General of the British Broadcasting Corporation. First published in 1910, this set is the 18th printing of Noyes' Collected Poems, referred to by the publisher's as a new edition, the first to include revisions to Noyes' juvenilia which the author had long wished to make, and includes a few previously unpublished early poems. A very nice, handsome set.
