Undated but circa 1950. 66pp, with sepia-toned illustrations, in strong card covers (worn and chipped at edges, mild creases, scuffed at spine ends and corners). Internally some page browning, especially on endpapers, and signs of fingering. A collection of period recipes using chocolate, based on the belief that chocolate was an essential food - 'chocolate and cocoa are highly nutritious articles of food and should be included fairly frequently in the daily menu'. Interesting vintage volume with some tasty-sounding chocolate and cake recipes. 8vo.
