14pp plus six sepia plate illustrations.  In paper-coverd printed boards.  Decorated endpapers.  8vo.  Boards heavily worn and rubbed, discoloured, with pencil annation near top of front board. Small corner crease to front endpaper, and a little page tanning throughout, with prices realised written against each lot entry.

An auction catalogue from 1909 for the sale of one of the most important collections of old English furniture ever formed, amassed by Henry Percy Dean.  Dean (1864-1931) first housed his collection at 69, Harley Street, London but he transferred much of it to his country house, Bridgefoot House in Iver, Buckinghamshire.
