1st edition, 1st impression. 178pp. Light grey cloth covers (a little worn at edges and soiled). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Pages toning and perhaps a little brittle. In its original dust jacket (rubbed at edges and corners, two closed tears along spine joint and leading edge, shelf wear and soiled, but complete and distinctive) . A Professor Stubbs story. Very hard to find title from this breezy but 'on the whole grammatical' author. Ruthven Campbell Todd was a Scottish poet, artist and novelist, mostly remembered for editing the works of William Blake. During the 1940s he also wrote detective fiction as R T Campbell. A Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket.
