Billy Bunter at Butlins

First edition, first impression.  vi, 217pp, colour plate frontispiece and line drawings in text.  In orange cloth-covered boards with black lettering front and spine.  12mo.  Cloth very slightly rounded at spine ends.  Tiny nick in paper a top of front free endpaper, affecting next two leaves, hint of toning on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original, illustrated dust wrapper. a little rubbed on cut edges, minor shelf wear on verso. 

This dust jacket is consistent with the 'yellow' dust jackets of the Billy Bunter series books.  There was also a Butlin Beaver Club variant of the jacket.  The two variants are usually considered to have been issued simultaneously, with no priority of issue; both priced 9s 6d.

Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
