There's a little spotting on the endpapers and prelims, title page gutter a little strained, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Rosa Nouchette was a popular English novelist and children's writer in the latter part of the 19th century. Her works reflect the values of her times, widely held to be wholesome reading matter for girls, but are not without grit and realism.
