First edition. 100pp, plus central section of black and white photographic plate illustrations. Numerous, elegant and detailed drawings of machine tools. In printed cloth-covers. Tall 8vo. Boards are a little worn at edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, lightly rubbed and chipped at edges, darkened on spine with minor loss at spine head. A very nice copy, with elegant and intriguing drawings of machine tools, providing a history of the Birmingham Machine Tool company, founded by James Archdale in 1868, and the machines it built.
