Red cloth boards with gilt ruling and lettering (a little rubbed on edges, especially around spine joints, and rounded at corners and spine ends, mildly soiled with a couple of tiny marks). Previous owner's inscription on slightly warped front endpaper, as well a tiny bookseller's ticket (indicating that the book was once in the stock of M Ogle and Son, booksellers in Exchange Square, Glasgow. Some spotting affecting first and last few pages, else internally fresh, clean and tidy. Binding remains strong and square. A collection of some 80 historical, Moorish, and romantic Spanish ballads. A beautiful book.
