lvi, 228, [vi], with sepia aquatint frontispiece and seven further like plates, map, list of subscribers, errata page.  In plain paper-covered boards. Title on paper spine label.  8vo. Boards are worn, rubbed and chipped at edges, marked. Backstrip heavily chipped and broken, dividing text block into two.  Previous owner's inscription on front paste down.  Endpapers marked.  Pages have some edge wear and chipping, title page toned, a few mild marks and smudges throughout.  Volume complete and readable - suitable as a reference copy or for rebinding.

A poor copy of this now very hard to find title on the history and topography of the weald of Kent. arranged on an area by area basis covering Cranbrook, Biddenden, Headcorn, Egerton, Isle of Oxney, Hunton, Pluckley, Linton and others.
