In pictorial boards with canvas spine. Pale blue decorated endpapers. Small 4to. Boards are heavily worn, heavily rubbed at edges, with some chipping and scuffing, discoloured at edges, unevenly tones, canvas rubbed and fraying at spine ends. Binding is broken, with all pages loose inside covers. Pages are toned and brittle at edges, with some chipping on edges, half title page has some loss around lower corners and a couple of short closed tears, as well as a gift inscription inked at the top. Illustrations remain undamages and complete. Volume would benefit from some conservation/restoration. A scarce edition of Louis Wain's ever popular and always witty cats.
