First edition, first impression.  160pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece.  Green cloth-covered boards with titles on spine.  12mo.  Cloth is worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips, with some marks, sticky label with typed titles affixed to front panel, label edges a little rubbed, sunned over spine obscuring titling.  Two previous owner's names on front paste down, one rather clumsily written.  Faint offset tanning on free endpapers else internally neat, clean and tight.

Von Reuter (d. 1985) was an American composer and violinist - a child prodigy, giving his first professional concert at the tender age of 10.  He was also author of several books on spirit mediums and mediating communication with familiar spirits and the dead - a skill which he claimed to have inherited from his mother.  This volume recounts some of his psychic conversations with, for instance, Nicolo Paganini and Emile Zola.
