Seventh edition.  96, [2]pp, including many contemporary advertisements,  In stiff card covers.  12mo.  Covers are heavily worn and darkened, rubbed at edges and scuffed around spine, which has some crumbled loss at ends.  Page block edges a little toned.  Internally a hint of toning but generally neat and clean but with the odd corner crease and a little shaken.

A collection now vintage recipes, giving insight into the food trends and cookery styles of the 1920s.  Includes many advertisements, particularly for goods and wares from Binns' department stores.  Miss Mason, the author, was Principal of the Northern Counties' School of Cookery and Household Economy. The recupes are aimed at inexperienced cooks, setting out the basic principle of cookery, allowing adaption and development.
