A catalogue of the Wurlitzer company's collection of rare violins, violas and bows. Assembling a representative collection of the world's finest violin masterpieces was the life-long ambition of Rudolph Wurlitzer (1821-1914), founder of the Wurlitzer Company, and his ambition was continued into the 20th century by his successors. This catalogue includes many items from that collection, with prices and descriptions, with some historical and research notes, and features instruments made by Antonio Stradivari and Joseph Guarnerious de Gesu.
