Cloth a little rounded on corners and spine ends, small indentation on lower edge, and single black spot on spine. Upper text block edge a little dust darkened. Previous owner's name inked on the front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper, a little rubbed and bumped on edges and folds, slightly faded, with some visible shelf wear and staining on rear panel.
Neil Bell was the preferred pen name of writer Steven Southwold, under which name he wrote many science fiction and well-remembered novels, such as I Am Legion and The Inconsistent Wife. Several of the novels he wrote under this pen name were detective fiction, as this one is.
