Waldere (or Waldhere) is the title of two fragments of a now lost Old English epic poem thought to have been written towards the end of the 10th century.. The fragments were discovered in the 19th century in the Royal Danish Library. They had been reused to make in the binding for an Elizabethan Prayer Book. The fragments are the only evidence that the Anglo-Saxons had knowledge of the legend of Walter of Aquitaine.
