Loosely laid is an enveloped typed and hand-signed letter from a Dr James Dickie to a James Bacon, dated 1979, discussing John Crosse's next publication on the Thermopylae clipper and the compilation of a collection of photographs of model ships and clippers for (presumably) future publication - a charming, if not directly related - addition.
