Red decorated cloth-covered boards, with two colour illustration and gilt and black lettering on front panel and gilt lettering and vignette on spine. Bevelled edges, All edges gilt. Brown endpapers. 4to. Cloth is a little worn and dull, gently rubbed at corners and spine ends, moderately sunned over spine, with a few marks on rear panel. Previous owner's name inked opposite the half title; some mild spotting on first and last few pages else internally neat and clean. The illustrations are lovely.
