x, 480pp, with tipped in engraved portrait frontispiece. Full leather binding with six raised bands on spine. Elephant folio. Leather is heavily worn and scuffed and rubbed, especially on corners and all around spine, lower portion of backstrip absent, with minor loss at spine head and around corners. Some spotting and browning on endpapers; first five leaves a little loosened at top, else internally remarkably clean and neat. A good working/reference copy and a suitable candidate for restoration.
