viii, 900, [2]pp Fully bound in tan tree calf's leather with gilt borders on both panels, five raised bands on a heavily decorated spine, with red leather spine label. All edges marbled. Marbled endpapers. 8vo. Panels are bright and clean, front joint cracked along full length, loosening front board; spine leather a little dry and rubbed along length of rear joint. Front hinge cracked else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
A handsome, pleasingly tactile volume with a mild patina of age and use to boards. The loosening board is fortunately repairable.
