As an alternative to the official corporate history, this is the story of Hansgrohe, the German plumbing and sanitary fittings manufacturer founded by Hans Grohe in 1901, retold in the style of a Grimm Brothers fairy story. Hansgrohe, established in the Black Forest village of Schitach has become a global enterprise although it remained a family-owned business for many years. The first edition of this story was issued in 2007; this volume references events up to 2008 so is likely a later edition.
