Covers are worn, chipped around edges, scuffed and cracked along backstrip, with visible shelf wear and scarring on verso. Text block edges a little rubbed and indented. Internally a hint of yellowing on endpapers and in margins (not affecting prints).
Hall provides a fascinating introduction covering the history and methodology used by Currier & Ives to produce their 'ballads in picture' prints, and the impact they had. The prints portray, generally, Americana - portraiture, history, life on the prairie trail etc.
