Florence Marryat (1833-1899), the daughter of the successful writer of adventure stories for boys. Captain Frederic Ma was an English actress and writer, particularly for her sensational novels and, later in life, her involvement with - and belief in - the leading spiritual mediums of the late 19th century. An nice, early vintage edition, now hard to find.
