Both volumes uniformly bound in burgundy cloth, with gilt embellishments and letter on upper panels, gilt lettering to spines and blind embossed decorations on rear panels. 8vos. Cloth is a little worn, quite heavily rubbed through and rounded at corners and spine ends, slight ridge in spine cloth of volume two. Upper text block edges dust darkened, remaining edges a little toned. Hint of toning to first and last few pages else internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring the occasional strained gutter. A handsome and imposing set.
