Undated but circa 1980. Ruby text (Ruby bibles are compact bibles without references, printed in the traditional two column layout). 246, [8]pp, with eight colour plate illustrations and three coloured maps of the Holy Land at rear. White faux leather binding with gilt lettering and decorations front, spine and rear. All edges gilt. White silk ribbon marker boumd in. 16mo. The presentation page in the Bible has been very elegantly filled in, else the volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. The slipcase is jsut a little rubbed on the corners and very slightly shelf worn.
An elegant and pleasing compact Bible for younger people, with coloured illustrations. WOuld make a thoughtful confirmaton/baptsim gift (please note the presentation page has already been completed with receiptient's name etc).
