Ernst Zundel was a German neo-Nazi publisher and pamphleteer of Holocaust denial literature, jailed several times - in Canada for publishing literature likely to incite hatred, in the US for overstaying his visa, and in Germany for inciting racial hatred. Zundel had become a leading spokesman for the far right but in this late 1970s he was unmasked as publishing neo-Nazi, Holocaust denial and antisemitic literature, including his own The Hitler We Loved and Why under the penname Christof Friedrich, effectively ending his public-facing career.
