Covers are worn and toned, scuffed and chipped at edges, rubbed all around spine and brittled. Internally there is a hint of toning to page and the glued binding is brittle and cracking.
The Balolo Mission was a British Baptist Mission active in Belgium Congo from 1889-1915 and reports of its activities form an important contemporary snapshot of the region. This volume deals with the history of the mission to 1908, with a brief appendix covering events in Congoland from 1908 to circa 1910. Now very hard to find.
