First edition. [circa 1910].  Part III only.  [ii], 67-100pp, with several black and white illustrations and one folding, coloured map of the Congo River region.  Printed paper wrappers.  8vo.  Covers are worn and toned, scuffed and chipped at edges, rubbed all around spine and brittled.  Internally there is a hint of toning to page and the glued binding is brittle and cracking.

The Balolo Mission was a British Baptist Mission active in Belgium Congo from 1889-1915 and reports of its activities form an important contemporary snapshot of the region.  This volume deals with the history of the mission to 1908, with a brief appendix covering events in Congoland from 1908 to circa 1910.  Now very hard to find.
