Complete in six volumes.  xxiv, [2, maps], 602pp; xxiii, [2, maps], [1], 704pp; xviii, [3, maps], 712pp; xxiv, maps, 822pp; xiii, map, 826pp; viii, map, 866pp. All six volumes uniformly bound in red cloth, gilt lettering on black relief on spine.  Bright red endpapers.  8vox.  All volumes are neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In illustrated laminated dust wrappers, with just the most gentle bumping on edges. 

The Cambridge History of Japan is a major, six volume survey of Japanese history, bringing together the work of Japanese specialists and historians of Japan to present as full a view and possible of the current state of knowledge on Japanese history. A very nice set, hard to find complete.  A large and heavy set which may incur an additional charge for overseas delivery.
