Complete in eight volumes (ten books, volumes VI and VII both being issued in two books).  All volume uniformly bound in black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  8vos.  Volumes I to IV, VI Part I, VI Part II and VII to Xi are have some occasional toning to text block edges and occasional minor signs of handling, with dust wrappers a little bumped on extreme edges and gently rubbed at spine ends and corners.  The dust wrapper on volume III is a little faded.  Volume V is in as new condition, in a dust wrapper just a little rubbed at spine ends and now protected in a removable clear sleeve.  Volume VII, Parts I and II are ex library copies with library stamps and barcode strip on front endpapers, and a stamp on title page, copyright page and upper and lower text block edge. Both also have a bookplate on the front paste down and slightly toned text block edges, else are neat, and clean.  Their dust wrappers are a little rubbed at edges and have a call number label taped to the bottom on the backstrip.
