A collection of stories from the Welsh novelist and poet, Dilys Cadwaladr (1902-1979) Cadwaladr was the first women to win the prestigious bardic Crown at the National Eisteddford (in 1953) and much of her writings have been translated into English (although many are not out of print). Cadwaladr was strongly influenced by the Welsh poet Dewi Emrys, with whom she had a daughter in 1930.
