Reprint.  248pp, with black and white portrait plate frontispiece and further black and white plate illustrations.  Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering to spine.  8vo.  Cloth slightly rubbed at corners and spine ends, slightly sunned to spine, mildly marked.  Text block edges a little dull. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  

Nevil Shute Norway (1899-1960), best known as a novelist and author of works such as One the Beach and A Town Like Alice, was a pilot and an aeronautical engineers, working for many years for de Havilland and then Vickers before founding his own aircraft construction company, Airspeed Ltd - its Envoy aircraft was chosen for the King's Flight.
