Undated but circa 1900. 68pp, with page decorations and borders on every leaf. Colour illustrated endpapers, bordered in gilt. Light card covers with yapped edges, illustrated. 32mo. Covers a little worn and faded, scuffed at spine ends and bumped all round protruding yapped edges. Text block edges lightly toned and pages a little creamy. Front hinge/backstrip partially cracked.
A sweet, pocket-sized selection of some of Percy Bysshe Shelley's best-loved poetry with unexpectedly richly illustrated endpapers. The publisher, J Hewelson & Son, based in Hampstead, London, seems little recorded, although they did publish some other similar volumes of poetry (perhaps also in Ye Booklover's Biblot series) including a volume of D G Rossetti's.
