Complete in two volumes.  Both volumes uniformly bound in full dark red calf's leather with gilt lettering and decorations, with the armorial emblem of Oundle School on the upper panel of each.  All edges marbled.  Marbled endpapers.  12mos.  Boards on both volumes rubbed and scuffed, spine labels absent and upper panel on volume two detached.  Text block edges a little dulled.  Prize presentation plate on the front paste down of volume one, indicating that the volumes was presented to one Walter Kingvelt Robertson in 1887 by the then headmaster of Oundle School, M T Paris.  Some faint and occasional spotting throughout both volumes else text blocks remain clean, robust and square.  A nice set.

Founded in 1556,  Oundle School is a public boarding school in Northamptonshire, governed by the Worshipful Company of Grocers.
