Undated but circa 1930. 364pp, illustrated frontispiece and decorated title page. Brown patterned cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. Brown endpapers. Top edge sprayed black. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and worn, cracked along front joint, slightly rounded on corners and spine ends. Upper text block edge dust darkened. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
A rather lovely vintage copy of this popular classic novel, with a general patina of age and reading but still elegant and very readable.
