Complete in four volumes.  1890, 1890,  1892 and 1893 respectively.   Volumes III and IV have a tissue guarded monochrome frontispiece.  All  four volumes uniformly bound in richly decorated blue cloth, with gilded design on upper panel and gilt lettering to spine.  Top edges gilt.  Brown endpapers.  12mos.  Cloth is a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, with some shelf wear and minor marks.  Fore and lower edges a little toned and soiled.  Front hinge in volume four is cracked, slightly loosening the upper board.   Each volume has the bookplate of William Peven Merrick on the front paste down, and some faint and occasional spotting on first and last few pages, with the tissue guards a little crumped and more heavily rusted.

A very nice looking set, with the gilding and decorations on the covers remaining fresh and bright.  Very hard to find complete.
