Covers heavily worn, soiled and toned at margins, rubbed and scuffed all round edges with rounded corners rubbed through, affecting text block edges, and crushed ends of a dry and ridged spine. Previous owner's (?) initials on front panel. Previous owner's name crudely obliterated on front free endpaper. Internally pages are a little toned and some spotting on first and last few pages; some minor signs of handling and use throughout.
A vintage, deluxe album for 100 cigarette cards, with tipped in colour frontispiece, and descriptive text, elegantly set out, complete with all 100 cards carefully mounted (one has lost two of its corner mounts and hence is a little lose). This is a lovely thing albeit no longer in pretty condition.
