A series of ten introductory lessons for learning Old Icelandic, with reading sections, exercises and explanations, followed by a section on vocabulary and a translation of Snorra Edda (the Prose Edda, or the Younger Edda), an old Norse textbook of poetics originally written around 1220. The lessons were designed for students at Massey University in New Zealand studying Viking Languages and Old Icelandic.
