First edition, first impression.  244pp, with some charts and tables in text.  Crimson cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine.  8vo.  An ex university lending library copy with usual markings on endpapers, call number on spine, and small stamps and annotations on copyright page and last leaf (no other library markings).  Cloth is a little tired, gently rubbed at edges and rounded on corners and ends of a lightly sunned and ridged spine.   Internally a few minor signs of handling and reading else neat, clean and tight barring the library markings.
