Dostoevsky's Letters from the Underground was first published in Russian in 1864. Unusually, the first English translation was published by J M Dent in the Everyman's Library series in 1913 (this copy is a later reprint). This edition also contains his 1867 story, Gentle Maiden and his 1847 novella A Landlady.
