John Kalabergo, an Italian by birth, lived and worked in Banbury for over 40 years.  His clocks and barometers are still in use today and are valuable as collectors' pieces.  His nephew William, Kalabergo joined him in Banbury in 1851 and murdered him a few months later.  This is the story of the how the murder happened,  those involved and the aftermath of the murder and eventual hanging of William.
