Otto Strauss (1897-1974 was a German politician. An early member of the Nazi Party, together with his brother Gregor, he became prominent in the party's more radical wing, eventually breaking from the party in protest at Hitler's dominance. He founded the Black Front, ostenibly to split the Nazi Party and undermine Hitler's control, but while Strauss was in exile during the Second World War, it became a secret internal opposition to the Third Reich regime.
