By legend a weird and warped mythical figure associated with Windsor Forest and Great Park, Herne the Hunter is said to have antlers, to ride a horse, torment cattle and rattle chains. The earliest recorded reference comes in Shakespeare's Merry Wives of Windsor. Scarce title.
