426, [2]pp, tissue-guarded colour plate frontispiece and further extensively illustrated with colour plates, photographic illustrations and technical sketches and drawings etc.  Quarter bound in  grey cloth over green paper-covered boards with black lettering front and spine.  Deep green endpapers.  12mo.  Boards worn and lightly marked, a little rubbed and scuffed on edges and lightly rounded on corners and ends of a tanned spine.   Text block edges darkened and dull.  Front hinge cracked.   Previous owner's name neatly pencilled on front free endpaper.  Gift inscription, from Lord Leigh of Stoneleigh Abbey, dated 1926, on the first leaf. A little toning in extreme margins. Signature binding a little fragile.

The Lord Leigh referred to is presumably (from date) Francis Leigh (1855-1938), the 3rd Baron Leigh, who succeed his father to the title in 1905.
