Both volumes uniformly bound in tan cloth-covered boards with black lettering and illustration on front panels, gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Top edges gilt. Title pages printed in red and black, with central vignettes. 8vos. Cloth on both volumes is worn, rubbed at edges, corners and around spine, rounded on corners and spine ends. Text block edges a little grubby. Some spotting on endpapers only. Both volumes have two bookplates of Percy William Pegge of Stoney Stanton, Leicestershire, on the front paste downs.
