An engaging biography of engineer and inventor Granville Bradshaw (1887-1969), designer of aero-engines, cars, motorbikes and gambling machines. He designed the Star Monoplane, including the engine, for Star Aircraft when he was only 19 - a plane he later flew; and was co-founder of ABC Motors. He designed the ABE Dragonfly - its radial aero-engines were extremely advanced for the time and the Government placed large orders for it during the First World War.
