A stiff card portfolio containing 15 loose leaf, tipped in colour plates (with a further colour plate tipped in on the dust wrapper) preceded by a critical essay on the work of Georges Rouault. Slim folio. There is a little toning around the edges of the essay pages, but the colour plates remain bright and crisp (and suitable for framing if desired). The dust wrapper covering the portfolio is worn and a little toned, chipped and scuffed at crumbling spine ends, with some smallish marks. It is covered in an old protective film which is itself cracked and torn in places, with some loss.
