Undated but circa 1930s (it was during the 1930s that Moss Bros produced a series of semi-frivolous booklets to lift the spirits of their customers from the economic depression; it was also during this time that the author, Lionel Dawson was writing prolifically, and the production of the booklet is consistent with this dating). 18pp booklet in illustrated stiff card covers, with numerous illustrations and line drawings in text. Landscape 8vo. Covers are a rubbed at edges, especially corners and spine ends, and lightly toned. Inside covers also moderately toned but else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
An evocative period piece providing not only a promotional of Moss Bros hunting attire range but also an overview of the history and customs of hunting with hounds.
