An annotated collection of photographic plates by British surrelist painter, Paul Nash. Nash is best known for his landscape and surrealist paintings and as a war artist in both the first and second world wars. Taken with a Kodak No. 2 camera, his photographs recorded impressions of places, and many were later used as sources and reference for his paintings. The volume was edited by his wife Margarent after his death in 1946 and published posthumously.
